ABOUT US
Allison Mueller-Warnecke, LPCC-S
As an independently licensed counselor (LPCC-S) with 10 years of experience, my work has primarily been in community mental health outpatient clinics and within school systems. Throughout my time in community mental health, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse population and addressing various issues, including anxiety, anger, depression, and coping with life changes.
One of the unique aspects of my experience is my work with children and teenagers. For the past 5 years, I have facilitated a teen girls' relationship group and have collaborated with school systems to provide support to young people.
In my approach to treatment, I utilize person-centered and cognitive behavioral approaches and incorporate mindfulness and somatic techniques. I tend to take a strength-based perspective and enjoy helping clients identify their unique strengths and how they can use them in their healing journey.
I work hard to create a safe and open environment for my clients where they can share their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. It takes a lot of courage to embark on a journey towards a more fulfilling and happier life, and I am here to support and empower you in that process.
I earned my master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Wright State University. Outside of work, I enjoy riding my bike, practicing yoga, and reading. I also cherish spending time with my husband and two young daughters, where we often have tea parties and play dress-up together.
